Ideal program to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the Picos de Europa in its Asturian and Cantabrian part.
This program combines the cultural and natural knowledge of our environment with the development of activities in the East of Asturias and West of Cantabria. It is especially recommended for children from 10 to 14 years old.

PROGRAM
MONDAY: Reception, and presentation of our monitors, explanation of the program and organization of rooms, spaces and the details that we have to comply with to be able to carry out all the activities and excursions without delays. Dinner and rest.
TUESDAY: Excursion to Picos de Europa. up on the cable car, picnic lunch. We will make the excursion in the Cantabrian part of the Picos de Europa. Our first stop will be in the Thematic Classroom of Picos de Europa in Tama, with videos, murals, didactic classrooms... etc, related to the Picos de Europa. We move to the Cable Car to climb up in it, to the Upper Station at 1,800 metres. Small hiking trail and picnic lunch we have brought from the lodge. Descent of the mountain in the Cable Car and displacement to Santo Toribio de Liébana, to visit the Lignun Crucis. Stop in Potes and return to the hostel. Dinner and entertainment.
WEDNESDAY: We go out to the canoe descent activity. We put on the wetsuits in the hostel and move on our buses until the start of the activity in Vilde. We make the descent accompanied by monitors in a ratio according to age, weather, skills ... etc. Once the descent is over, our vehicles will return back to the hostel where we will take off their suits and shower. Lunch at the hostel. In the afternoon, adventure circuit: rappels, zip lines, ascents, bridges, etc. In our own facilities located 500 meters from the hostel, where we will carry out the activity with the latest innovations in security. We have a continuous lifeline specially designed for schoolchildren in which they will be compulsorily insured being the monitor who activates it and deactivates the security device. Dinner and entertainment.
THURSDAY: West of Cantabria. We leave by bus to Santander. The bus passes through the city centre along the Paseo Pereda and arrives at the Palacio de la Magdalena. Visit of the zoo and surroundings of the Palace. Walk along the Sardinero Beaches to the Mesones Park where we will eat the picnic that they gave us in the hostel.Once again we get on the bus to move to Santillana del Mar, with a direct visit to the Replica of the Cave of Altamira. Once we finish, we go to the town of Santillana which is one of the towns of greatest artistic historical value in Spain, where we will walk along the Calle del Cantón to the Monastery of Santa Juliana. After the visit, and again on the bus, we head to Comillas by the coastal road. We will visit the surroundings of the Palace and Chapel of Sobrellano and gaudí's Capricho. We return to the bus to move to Colombres.
FRIDAY: Breakfast and return to the point of origin.
